La publicidad es una forma de comunicación. Para la mayoría de las empresas es una herramienta clave para el éxito. Un error muy común y grave es asumir que de manera automática los consumidores están al tanto de lo que tenemos que ofrecerles. Por si fuera poco, la competencia hoy en día es tal, que lo más probable es que otras empresas estén haciendo lo mismo que nosotros y tenemos que mostrarle a nuestro mercado meta por qué somos diferentes y mejores.
Philip Kotler, mejor conocido como “el padre de la mercadotecnia” propone el concepto de Marketing 3.0 que dice que hoy en día los consumidores adquieren productos y servicios que satisfacen sus necesidades más profundas de comunidad, idealismo y creatividad, es por ello que las marcas deben enfocarse en ofrecer productos y culturas corporativas que los inspiren y que proyecten sus mismos valores, para que puedan sentirse identificados. Esta filosofía no solo consiste en posicionar a la marca, si no en promover una educación “no estructurada” donde se transmitan conocimientos, principios y costumbres a la audiencia.
